Price range: Android phones are available in the market at every price. Many companies are using the Android operating system so android phones are available in the market at every price range. An android device always fits your budget or offers exclusive features.

The same can not be said for iPhone because iPhone has been expensive at launch. Apple has always been at the high-end of the market at a price range. One of the most affordable iPhone is the iPhone 12 mini that is available on market at $699 but that comes with a small display of 5.4-inch.

The Galaxy S20 FE has the same price but comes with a bigger and smoother 120Hz 6.5-inch screen, a telephoto lens and a much larger battery.

The least expensive iPhone is iPhone SE which is a fantastic device with amazing features for just $400 but it has a small display screen that might not be suitable for many.

Expandable Storage: many android phones offer expandable storage and it allows you to use a microSD card to keep photos, apps and other media that won't fit in the phone’s internal memory.

USB-C Port: Android phones largely rely on USB-C port for charging and data transfer purpose.

Hardware Diversity: the biggest advantage for Android is actually in hardware. It is available on a huge variety of hardware including options for people who want styluses and bigger screens, fantastic battery life or even a physical keyboard.

Customization Option: if someone wants a customization option for computers, tablets and phones then Ios may not be suitable for you. Android allows you to choose your default apps for handling different tasks or types of files.

Apps: how many apps someone will find in the Google play store and Apple play store

  • Android Apps: 2.7 million
  • iOS apps: 1.8 million

The Google play store has a higher percentage of free apps than the Apple play store. Both the operating systems have been taking more precautions when it comes to malicious apps and spyware, making apps safer to download than ever.

Maps: As the newer navigation system Apple maps did not have a great start but it has improved significantly. Google maps still have a small advantage due to its larger database of reviews and businesses but its lead has narrowed a lot. Some people can download Google maps even on Apple devices.

Battery life and charging: iOS is optimized to squeeze most out of the battery per mAh rating but someone can buy an android device with a much bigger battery that will easily outlast the iPhone.for a longer time Android had an advantage in the charging department because many Android phones are offering fast charging capabilities and wireless charging.
