Okay, at first glance it doesn't sound particularly clever, but what makes this iPhone app stand out is the fact that it stores the location and weather info of where the photo was taken. Okay, I personally see little point in the weather info, but for the app to know the name of the village I live in is pretty impressive. I tool a photo of Mrs doipod and it automatically tagged the photo with "Mostly Sunny, 17C, United Kingdom, England, Corton, AirMe, iPhone". You can then add your own tags before or after your publish it to either your free AirMe account or Flickr account. The app invites you to sign up for a free AirMe account when you first start it up. The photos are also added to your iPhone Camera Roll. So I'm not sure why I'd ever use the standard iPhone Camera button again. AirMe does so much more. I give this 4 stars out of 5. - Download it Free from the iTunes App Store Worth noting the the Free FaceBook App will also let you take and post photos directly from the app, but without the GPS location info. Awesome APP! I can't believe apple didn't include this as part of the base OS.

Are you sure the native camera app doesn't geotag your pictures? I have been asked several times when opening camera if I want to allow location access.

John. You're right that the camera asks whether you want to use GPS information, but I've yet to see where/if it does anything with the information.

The standard iPhone camera does record the location based upon your last known location from the maps app but it is hidden in the meta data of the image.
You can view it with certain programs but Flickr does nothing with it. Airme is such an easier option.
