Argos customer takes fight to BBC Watchdog Show over iPod Touch fiasco

Any one following the iPod Touch fiasco at Argos here, can't help to have noticed the dire problem many have suffered in obtaining their iPod Touch. Argos will take your money and promise you a 1 - 3 day delivery date, knowing that they don't actually have any in stock. The they'll fob you off with letters, and new delivery dates. Some Argos customers are already on they're 5th delivery date!

So why not cancel? Well, if you paid cash in-store you'll only get fucking vouchers! Now that's taking the piss! If you paid by credit/debit card they'll tell you that it'll takle up to 10 days to be refunded to your card. Another piss take!

Well one Argos customer has taken his fight to the BBC's Watchdog TV show, and is urging others to do the same.

Another update:  Ok, so I rang up on the 15th ready to cancel my order, spoke to this girl who told me it was on the van and ready to be delivered that day.

Guess what? It didn’t arrive. I got a voicemail from Argos apologising and they gave me my 5th delivery date! Which is for tomorrow, the 19th!

There is now a running bet at my work if I will indeed receive it, the odds arn't great, if it's not here tomorrow I'm cancelling!
